„Scheibbs aus halber Höhe –deals with childhood in a small lawer austrian town.During a period of several weeks the artists worked together with a group of children between four and eleven years to figur out the main character of the phenomenon „Childhood“ in this special environment. Out of this experiences evolved an site specific art work for the public space of Scheibbs.An audiotour guided the visitors to certain places the children evaluated as as relevant or interesting. On mp3 player analytic textes as well as interview passages with the children can be heard. The main topics were: Moving, Plays, Hidden places, the Uncanny and projections. During the audiowalk 3 photoseries where exhibited, for example about economic intervention on Child play.The final station was the screening of the film. This animation video was made in a cardboard scenary, This model of the town was built by the children as a three dimensional picture of their subjectiv interpretation of their hometown. |
