P o s t c a r d s from St. Petersburg
>	Touristic picture postcards usually show Sights that legitimates their special importance out of an historical event and a representative function. The work reflects the different meanings of specific spaces between history, representation and daily life. Certain aspects out of the history of the Sights where noticed on the picture postcards, which set off to austria via mail. During the journey of the postcards I made sound recordings on the area around this places. Out of this takes I composed pieces between noise music and atmospheric Soundscapes. The movements, of humans, nature and machines, that make a place to an urban space, can be heard in the soundtracks. Produced during a residence in St. Petersburg 2008.
